Under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, the Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation celebrated a package of initiatives to support non-profit youth organizations. These organizations have transformed from the initiation stage to the pioneer stage, and the journey of impact and community service began after months of empowerment. The initiatives were presented by the Foundation’s framework of the foundational version of the “Youth Non-Profit Organizations Building” program.
This celebration was organized by the Foundation; in the presence of H.E. the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, H.E. Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Misk Foundation, Dr. Ghassan bin Abdul Rahman Al-Shibl, and the Secretary-General of the Foundation, Eng. Badr Al-Khail. in addition to the Board of Directors, as well as a group of government agencies representatives, foundations and NGOs, and donors supporting the non-profit sector.
H.E Dr. Badr bin Hamoud Al-Badr, CEO of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk”, said on this occasion that “The program aims to empower non-profit organizations and initiatives concerned with youth, and it integrates in this endeavor the overall efforts of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk“ to unleash the energies of youth, develop them, and invest them in the development of the national economy in general, and the non-profit sector in particular and expand its economic contribution and social impact in the Kingdom.”
The support provided by the Foundation included six youth initiatives that were registered as non-profit youth organizations, in addition to accelerating and empowering two existing associations. This came to achieve the goals of the “Youth Non-Profit Organizations Building” program, which is part of one of the four Misk tracks, the “Misk Community”.
The program aims to build the basic organizational capabilities of the supported initiatives, through a three-month journey focused on learning and applying the most prominent and world-leading management methodologies that form multiple aspects of the organization’s voyage, such as strategic clarity, financial sustainability, communication, and impact measurement.
During the ceremony, Misk officially launched the program, and announced the opening of the 2022 registration. During the ceremony, the most important programs and projects that supported youth organizations are working on during the coming period were reviewed and evaluated.
The ceremony concluded by honoring the partners of success, supporting bodies and major donors who contributed to the success of Foundation version of the program.
