In a step to achieve knowledge exchange and capabilities localization, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation “Misk” signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) to empower youth in the field of communications and information technology to drive the development process in Saudi Arabia in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. The Agreement was signed today in Riyadh by His Excellency Bader Alasaker, the Secretary General of the Misk Foundation, and Dr.Khaled Biyari, STC Group CEO, to empower youth, support the development of The Kingdom, and achieve the objectives of 2030 vision.
The memorandum constitutes the empowerment of Saudi youth in four areas of focus: digital-technical creativity, social communication, scholarships, and training courses. This partnership also aims to enrich the Saudi society, increase the effectiveness of programs and initiatives regarding rehabilitation of Saudi talents, enhance the role of women, develop special content for children, produce awareness videos, organize collaborative competitions for children and youth, and establish a joint program for the development of technical solutions.
On this occasion, Dr.Khaled Biyari commented that this agreement represents a comprehensive platform for many areas of development and pointed out that its objectives comply with STC’s, especially in the development of community skills and the empowerment of youth.
