The Film for Tolerance initiative will recognize the young visionaries who are addressing issues of tolerance and cross-cultural understanding in visual media.
Open to all registered participants of the Misk-UNDP Youth Forum, we are calling for short videos that describe what tolerance and cultural understanding mean to you as an individual, to youth, and your communities.
If this is a call you’d like to answer, choose your medium—video, motion graphics or photography, and show the world what you’re made of.
Submissions should address the theme “Your vision for creating a world of peace and tolerance by 2030”. Outstanding expressions will:
- Speak to both peace and tolerance
- Demonstrate creative content and visual style
- Move and inspire viewers
Judges will look closely at your work to see if it is inspiring and evocative. What’s your point of view? And are you passionate about these issues?
This contest supports the mission of the Misk foundation to foster talent, creative potential and innovation, and the quest of the UNDP to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality worldwide.
All submissions must:
- Be between 30 to 60 seconds in length
- Avoid any language or imagery that may cause offense
- Not contain any materials that may infringe on copyrights or the intellectual property of others
Submissions must be uploaded to YouTube and your submission form must contain the link to your video.
Shortlisted entries may appear on Misk social media channels, but only the creator behind the most powerful submission will win the grand prize of $5,000.
The jury will consist of representatives from both Misk and UNDP.
– Registration Deadline: 14 September 2017 –
