About MCIT

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is responsible for all the means of communication and information technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. MCIT aims to empower the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be a global leader in information and communication technology (ICT) by improving and advancing all development activities, and maximising the effectiveness and performance of the public and private sectors to enable digital transformation.

About the initiative

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology seeks, in cooperation with the MISK Academy, to provide quality programs and professional training in specific digital areas by designing and implementing training programs that contribute to building a digital community that has knowledge of specialized technical programs in various digital fields. These training courses enhance future digital skills where the training content was built in alignment with the digital skills framework recently launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology 

Eligibility criteria

  • Minimum age of 18 as of course start date.

  • Saudi nationals or individuals whose spouse or mother is Saudi

  • Must be unemployed (not registered in GOSI within the last 90 days)

  • Education level: Diploma or higher

  • Good spoken and written English proficiency.

  • Pass the admissions process (varies depending on program)

  • Trainee may only apply to one course at the same time.
