Program details

College Prep will support you in:

Standardized Test Training & Coaching:

You will be supported to find your way through the entire college and university application process through test preparation classes: TOEFL, IELTS, SAT1 and SAT2


Personal Development Coaching

You will receive intensive coaching sessions in order to represent yourself in the best way possible in front of the universities’ admission committees. This focuses on building your character and helping you to set a plan to be a proactive person in the society


Summer Experiences:

You will receive  a summer experience at a top university or institute to help expose and prepare you to the college experience. This will not only teach you new skills and information, it will also enhance your college application to become a highly desirable candidate to tier one universities.

Our list of summer programs cover a wide range of subject areas such as physics, Math, Engineering, Pre-Med, Community Service, Art and design and many more!


Admission Coaching: 

You will receive one-to-one training to prepare you for the application and interview process, and to develop the confident mind-set that will enable you to succeed at a tier one university.

At the end of the program, we aim for you to be accepted at a tier one university. While the Misk Foundation is not affiliated with these schools, we’ve designed our program specifically to improve students’ chances of admission. We can’t guarantee admission to any university but the program offers you an unrivalled opportunity to become a highly-desirable candidate. Our target universities include, but not limited to:

Am I eligible?

To decide whether you should apply or not, you must be:

  • A Saudi Arabian citizen
  • A 10th grade student
  • Able to demonstrate top-level academic performance in the 9th grade with a GPA equal to or above 90%
  • Able to both write and speak English, equivalent to:
    • TOEFL score of 60 and above, OR
    • IELTS Academic score of 5.5 and above OR
    • Duolingo test score of 90 and above OR
  • Committed to participate fully in the program.

How do I maintain eligibility?

The College Prep Program is designed to build your capabilities, character, resilience and prepare you to succeed in tier one universities around the world and to improve your likelihood of being admitted.

Being accepted in the program is only the first step. To remain eligible, you will be regularly assessed, over the 30-month period, in the following areas:

  • Commitment

You need to be personally committed, highly engaged, enthusiastic and happy to be part of an intense program. Your willingness to commit is vital; you must genuinely want to be part of the program, rather than doing so to please others.

You are expected to take part in all planned activities and programs. We will always expect you to be on time. If you fail to attend all program activities, this will result in disqualifying you from the program.

  • Satisfactory progress

You need to have a potential to grow and develop. By the end of the program, you will be expected to have developed the skills needed to gain admission at a tier one university. If you fail to make a satisfactory progress, this will result in disqualifying you from the program.

Tips for Applying

The items that will take the most time to complete are:

  • English language proficiency
    • You must be able to prove your proficiency in English through standardized testing (TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic and Duolingo Test). We will NOT accept any test other than the mentioned.
    • If you’ve already taken the English language proficiency in less than 2 years, you can use those scores. If your score doesn’t show your current level of ability, you should take the exam again.


  • Completing your statement of purpose (essays)
    • When writing your essays, make sure you understand the question carefully, edit your writing to check spelling, grammar, and plagiarism.

Selection process

At Misk, we carefully review all applications. We’re looking for students who challenge themselves, inspire others and have the potential to play key roles in the future of Saudi Arabia. Our process consists of four stages:

First stage: Applications

We designed an extremely competitive selection process as we are expecting thousands of applicants from a wide range of backgrounds. Successful applicants demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, leadership, extracurricular activity participation and strong characters.


Second stage: Aptitude test

We ask students to complete an online test after the initial filtration to ensure that they acquire the minimum target attributes.


Third stage: Interviews and essays evaluation

We choose finalists for one-on-one interviews with members of the admission team. This aim to evaluate characters, achievements, readiness to participate in the program. The admission team also evaluate the essays submitted in the application.


Fourth stage: Final offers

We will select the new cohort of the College Prep program then offers will be made. While this stage represents success in the selection process, it is only the beginning of the journey.


Once I get admitted at a tier one university, will MiSK provide me with a scholarship?

No, the College Prep Program aims to build students’ capabilities and character to increases their chances in getting admitted at tier one universities. Students are required to search for scholarship providers.

Is the program cost covered by MiSK?

Yes, all costs will be covered by MiSK (summer programs tuitions, travel tickets for the student, housing for the student, online programs fees)

What if I cannot travel during the summer?

The student is waived If he/she provides an excuse that MiSK accepts (e.g. health issues). When this is the case, the travel will be replaced with an online course, MiSK will decide

Which English test should I choose?

This choice is based on your personal preference. Please feel free to choose either to take TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic or Duolingo as we accept scores from these tests.

When should I take the test?

Please make sure to take the test ASAP to get your result in time for our application submission deadline on November 24, 2020.

How long should I wait for my English scores to be available?

  • TOEFL iBT: 10 days after your test date
  • IELTS Academic: up to 7 days of the computer-delivered test
    and 13 days after the test date for the paper based test.
  • Duolingo: up to 5 days after your test date.
