New Graduate Hardware Engineering Intern

You Will:

  • Develop circuits and systems for high performance electric vehicle powertrain components, such as battery management, motor control, and onboard charger
  • Develop circuits and systems for state of the art vehicle infotainment and communication systems
  • Work alongside industry gurus in building our revolutionary Lucid Air and FIA Formula E battery pack products

 

You Bring:

  • Proficiency in circuit design and simulation, PCB layout, system bring-up and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated excellence in building hardware systems from scratch
  • An open mind with meticulous attention to details for designing highly reliable, mass-producible products
  • Excellent communication skills

 

Advantageous:

  • Proficiency in Verilog or other FPGA HDL

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering


New Graduate Software Engineering Intern

You Will:

  • Develop embedded control firmware to advance state of the art electric car performance
  • Develop embedded Linux software and user interface to support powerful infotainment features and natural user experience
  • Develop scalable data pipeline and data analytics to support R&D and fleet operations
  • Develop software tools and test suites compliant with most rigorous industry standards
  • Work alongside industry gurus in building our revolutionary Lucid Air and FIA Formula E battery pack products

You Bring:

  • Proficiency in two or more software languages including but not limited to: C, C++, Java, Python
  • Demonstrated excellence working with some of the following: embedded software development, Unix/Linux environments, application development, data engineering and analytics, and/or software verification and validation
  • Demonstrated interest and ability to learn other coding languages and frameworks as needed
  • Excellent communication skills

Advantageous:

  • Working knowledge of AUTOSAR software platform
  • Experience with vehicle functional safety ISO 26262 standard

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering


New Graduate Mechanical Design Engineering Intern

You Will:

  • Design and engineer components, assemblies, and mechanisms in Catia V6
  • Be responsible to create a design that meets all simultaneous engineering requirements including studio, package, structural, weight, manufacturing feasibility
  • Develop designs interactively across all vehicle engineering disciplines
  • Interface with engineers in crash & safety, durability, NVH, studio, dynamics, aero, thermal, interior, exterior, manufacturing

 

You Bring:

  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in design engineering
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, especially statics and materials
  • Outstanding 3D thinking and knack for solving complex 3D puzzles
  • Ability to understand and balance multiple competing engineering requirements
  • Energetic personality and self-driven communicator that is not afraid to track down the latest simultaneous engineering requirements for their system
  • Combination of applied creativity and common sense

 

Advantageous:

  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, repair, or racing environment
  • Experience with steel, aluminum, and composites and common manufacturing processes in that area

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
