King Abdullah Economic City Hosted “NEXT” Power Brands Festival in Cooperation with MiSK Foundation

King Abdullah Economic City has organized the NEXT Power Brands Festival for three days from March 24-26 in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Investment and the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation “MiSK”.

In this festival, 300 talented youth participated in the events of “Markathon by MiSK” and “NEXT Forum” at KAEK headquarters in Rabigh Governorate.

Mr. Fahd Al-Rasheed, CEO and Managing Director of KAEC, welcomed hosting this first of its kind festival which reflects KAEC’s vision and complies with the Saudi Vision 2030 to support the national economy by improving the entrepreneurship environment and focusing on the marketing sector to stimulate creativity in this promising field in participation with the top power brands locally and internationally.

Mr. Bader Al-Asaker explained that this event is a significant step towards uncovering the talents of the Saudi youth and empowering them to accelerate the process of economic development at this crucial period of time and to be the future leaders to meet the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.

Mr. Al-Asaker also pointed out that the Markathon by MiSK event created an exciting atmosphere of competitiveness and talent-sharing with a group of experts within an educational framework in order to come up with marketing solutions for the challenges presented by the most famous brands. Additionally, the Markathon aims at encouraging youth to develop their skills and tools, motivating them to be creative, and helping them to find innovative solutions to be effective in developing their areas of specialty.
