100 Saudi Students Visit World’s Leading Consulting Firms

Harvard Leadership Development Program is an initiative launched by the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz “MiSK” Foundation in partnership with Harvard University and sponsored by Saudi Aramco. The Program enabled 100 students to attend one of the most prestigious university in the world as a step to improve young talents and abilities and to prepare them for a brighter future.

Students were given the opportunity to visit ten world leading consulting firms, the most significant of which was Boston Consulting Group (BCG). A business workshop was organized by BCG and Saudi students proved their diligent and commitment to gain the maximum benefit from this valuable opportunity.

Students also paid a visit to the Museum of Science in Boston and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the world’s most prestigious universities in technology. The Institute is distinguished in robotics, industrial agriculture, producing crops technology instead of sun rays, 4D glass printing, urban development, and monitoring city traffic through mobile networks.

During the visit at MIT, students met many engineers and inventors and read numerous published and non-published researches.  Babson College, one the most prestigious entrepreneurship colleges in the United States, was also a visit stop at which students had a dialogue with the College students and staff about college application, curriculum, and teaching methods.

The students also visited Artisan’s Asylum laboratory to learn how to teach occupational crafts and watched a film on how robots are manufactured in America and how different robot types are. The Leadership Program also organized a visit to MassChallenge, a global non-profit startup accelerator and competition with a focus on high-impact, early-stage entrepreneurs.

During this visit, students had the opportunity to have an open-ended dialogue with the organization and a number of projects supported by the organization. Students also visited the Port of Boston and learned about its uses, the operating companies, machinery, and the difference between seaports and airports in an open-ended dialogue.
